Exploring the Marival Resort, Nuevo Vallarta: Mexico day 1

Arrival at the Marival Resort and Suites, Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico (the double “ll” in Spanish is pronounced “y”, so it is pronounced “Nuevo Vayata”).

How appropriate! The magic begins here…šŸ˜

Meeting new friends of the feathered variety…

…and of the human-kind also!

Heading to my suite, just gotta stop at the bar…

The first cocktail AND Tequila shot… (when in Rome…)

Meet Pedro, our awesome bar tender – he makes the best “Banana Mamma” this side of Texas! šŸ˜‰

The cocktail menu for the Piazzetta Bar… I will have tried them ALL by tonight I assure you! šŸ˜‰

The view from the Piazzeta Bar, just outside my roomĀ (suite 9102 – which {for some reason} has two full-sized bathrooms, one king-size bedroom and a living area all just for lil’ ol’ me…), overlooking the “adults-only” pool, which overlooks the beach.

The beautiful private resort beach. Deckchairs, Ā umbrellas and cocktails all included! See the mountains in the background, the palm trees in the foreground, feel the soft white sand beneath your feet while the sound of the ocean sings in all languages.

You Should Be Here! šŸ˜‰

Exploring the Marival and what the resort has to offer. This all-inclusive resort boasts 5 pools, 2 Jacuzzis, Ā 7 restaraunts, 8 bars, a theatre, nightclub, mini-golf course, indoor rock-climbing wall, 2 tennis courts, Ā basketball courts, beach volleyball court, soccer pitch, 3 function halls, 3 souvenir shops, 2 spa salons, kids club, teens club, and an extensive activities and sports schedule, all included. Wow!
